BEAUTIFUL DAY

I tend to stop what I’m doing and take photos of random things that catch my attention, a beautiful day, per say. I am very fond of photography and I don’t carry my DSLR camera everywhere I go, so obviously I resort to the tiny contraption that always happens to be in my hands to snap a photo of what catches my attention. And by tiny contraption that always happens to be in my hands I mean my iPhone.

I think every day is a beautiful day. Whether it’s overcast or sunny, it’s a beautiful day to me.

This post doesn’t have much thought put into it. But I figured I should share the photos I took the other day.

I tried taking a photo of the moon because the sky looked beautiful. The sun was setting and the sky was in the awkward transition of nighttime and daytime, not twilight.

The night sky was taking over quickly.

EXAMS

I took this photo on my way to school. I love when it’s drizzling and it’s overcast. It’s such a beautiful day! It reminds me of the weather in England. It’s the little things in life.

I just finished taking my English exam and I’m pretty sure I got an A+ on it. Afterwards, I went to visit my math professor in his office because I needed a letter of recommendation. Needless to say, I found out I don’t have to take my math final because I have an A in the class! Hard work really does pay off. The downside was that I took my time last night to study for math so that I’m able to conquer the exam today. Either way, I am happy! I redeemed myself this semester! I had straight B’s last semester and I have straight A’s this semester! I am ecstatic. I could walk around naked and not care!!!!!

Just kidding I would never do such a thing. But I am extremely happy! ◡̈

I hope your day was swell. Mine has been a real slice.

F I N A L S

Ah, finals week has arrived. The week college students dread. I tend to be heavily motivated to procrastinate during this week. But, I try not to. Which explains why I’m currently typing today’s blog entry.

My college advice:

  • Do not wait until the night before to study for an exam.
  • Study in doable chunks!
  • Once you know the doable chunks you studied, review them.
  • Take breaks in between studying!
  • Quizlet is your best friend. Well, my best friend. Could be yours too.
  • Get enough rest. You’re not doing yourself any good with sleepless nights.
  • Your grades should not affect your well-being.
  • If you do not understand the subject there’s tutoring, YouTube, and the best thing ever invented, Khan Academy.
  • Excel in every semester.

Well, I’m off to study! ◡̈

Greetings Internet! I have successfully jumped the bandwagon. Which bandwagon you ask? The WordPress bandwagon, of course! I’m assuming this requires a proper introduction from the blogger.  So, my name is Marie Ann and I am a college student with hopes of making a blog about my daily life. Rather than writing long paragraphs on my Instagram caption, I will put it here. Now, you may be asking how I came up with my username, if you aren’t you probably are thinking about it just now. Well, lurker, I formed a portmanteau word out of my first and middle name, Marie Ann and Sabrina and added the letter Z. Why the letter Z? The letter S does not have enough oomph to it, so I went with Z. (Although, I’m pretty sure this was Jay-Z’s thought process when he invented his stage name). Anywho, why am I telling you this? Well, people think that my username is simply “Marieann’s Abz”, or pronounced that way. So, no, this blog is not about my abdomen. This blog is about the aforementioned daily life. Well, my life. So with that in mind, welcome to my blog.
